The Verb has undergone a renovation and after the renovation it has a brand new look. It is more of an industrial look.
The staff are friendlier and the service is more relaxed.
Here I had a stellar long black ($3.50) and sourdough toast with homemade jam ($5.50). Yum. The sourdough toast was just a tad bit dry but everything else just great. Perfect in fact.
The coffee smelt winey. It was winey with hints of nuts in this.
They also have great wi-fi too and have removed the books (note this used to be a secondhand bookstore as well as a cafe before the renovations)
All in all this is a great place to return to whilst waiting for your train to the city. They also do takeaway coffees.
